Summary

The Approachable Argument, by Michael G. Leigh, is a critical thinking text that uses argumentation as a means of increasing independent and well-informed thinking, rather than an argumentation and debate text that assumes teaching certain forms automatically leads to critical thinking.

This text is written in a simple, conversational format but is extremely comprehensive, covering a broad number of subjects. The Approachable Argument also contains numerous current real world examples, making it easy for students to relate and learn by example rather than theory.

Features Include:
- Learning Objectives
- Chapter Introductions and Summaries
- Case Studies
- Visual Aids
- Interactive Exercises
