Dr. Hulls awards include Distinguished Scholar, University of Northern Colorado; Distinguished Pioneer In Gerontology by the Colorado Gerontological Society; the U.S. Public Health Service Award; the Red River Award by the Winnepeg, Manitoba League for the Hard of Hearing; Emery Lindquist Faculty Award; among others.
