Author Bio

Bennett, Milton J. (Ed.) :

Dr. Bennett served in the Peace Corps in Micronesia, received his doctorate in communication from the University of Minnesota, and was professor of communication at Portland State University. Bennett coauthored with Edward C. Stewart the revised edition of American Cultural Patterns. He cofounded and codirects the Intercultural Communication Institute in Portland, Oregon, which sponsors the Summer Institute for Intercultural Communication.
