Frankfort-Nachmias, Chava : University of Wisconsin System Office

Chava Frankfort-Nachmias is an Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee where she teaches courses in research methods, statistics and women studies. She is the author of Research Methods in the Social Sciences (with David Nachmias) and numerous publications on ethnicity and development, urban revitalization and science and gender. She was the recipient of the University of Wisconsin System teaching improvement grant on integrating race, ethnicity and gender into the social statistics and research methods curriculum.

Leon-Guerrero, Anna : Pacific Lutheran University

Anna Leon-Guerrero, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor and Department Chair of the Department of Sociology and Social Work at Pacific Lutheran University. She regularly teaches statistics, sociological theory and social problems. As a social service program evaluator and consultant, her research has focused on welfare reform, employment strategies for the working poor, and program assessment. In addition, she has published and continues her research on family businesses.
