The second edition of Techniques and Principles in Language Teaching includes a modest updating of all of the methods presented in the first edition with the exception of Chapter 6 which has undergone a substantial revision to reflect the evolution of Suggestopedia (first edition) to Desuggestopedia in this edition. In addition, the Introduction has been expanded and methods that have come into prominence since the first edition of this book have been included.
