However, the Ayatollah's real objective is to create an Islamic Empire in the East and he plants a nuclear device in New York harbour in an attempt to stop the US Seventh Fleet from interfering. After firing Britain's first liquid-fuelled ballistic rocket he started commercial life, gaining experience and qualifications in marketing, finance and production. Later he specialised in company recovery and was for ten years the industrial advisor to a City investment bank. In addition to specialised work he has served as chairman, director and chief executive in a wide range of industrial and commercial companies. Latterly he became interested in the patterns of history, economics, climate, warfare and a range of other themes.
