Jay M. Shafritz is Professor of Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The author, coauthor, or editor of numerous texts and references on business and public ad-ministration, he received the B.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Temple University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the M.P.A. degree from the Baruch College of the City University of New York.


Rosenbloom, David H. : American University

David H. Rosenbloom is Distinguished Professor of Public Administration at the School of Public Affairs, American University, Washington, D.C. The recipient of the Dwight Waldo Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Literature and Leadership of Public Administration Through an Extended Career, he received the A.B. degree (1964) in political science from Marietta College, Ohio, and the M.A. (1966) and Ph.D. (1969) degrees in political science from the University of Chicago, Illinois. In 1994, he was granted an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from Marietta College, Ohio.
