Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated copywriter, editor, and content creator passionate about learning and education to work closely with our marketing, design, and business development teams. An excellent grasp of grammar, sensitivity to tone/voice, and ability to write for a variety of audiences are all required.

This position is unique in that there is ample opportunity to write marketing materials, both short- and long-form, across all of channels: email, site, business development/affiliates, blog, PR, and social media. By creating and sharing original content, you'll be integral to customer acquisition, customer retention, and the development of a distinct brand persona.


  • Creating clear, concise copy for all marketing channels
  • Writing/editing content for website
  • Updating all social media channels with relevant, interesting, timely content
  • Writing promotional and transactional emails for customer base
  • Supporting new business development by writing outreach emails, blog posts, promotions, etc.
  • Helping to plan and drive aggressive content marketing strategy
  • Staying up-to-date on developments and emerging trends in SEO, content marketing, social media, and competitive strategy

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • BA in English or Journalism (or equivalent) preferred
  • 3+ years of writing/editing experience in a professional capacity
  • Extreme attention to detail and keen eye for editing/proofreading
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to quickly generate fresh ideas for promotions and campaigns
  • Facility with all major social media platforms (both posting and tracking/reporting
  • Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices for writing
  • Ability to process feedback from many different teams, both local and remote
  • Experience working with marketing, design, and sales teams
